Meet the Founder
Hi, I'm Ameera!
I'm a Certified Personal Trainer, Women's Hormone Health Specialist, and lifelong dancer with a passion for helping women reconnect with their bodies through movement, nutrition, and root-cause wellness.
Movement has always been a part of my life.
As a dancer from a young age, I experienced both the beauty of movement and the pressure that can come with it. Somewhere along the way, I realized how easy it is to become disconnected from the very body that's carrying you through life.
That realization became even more personal through someone I love.
Watching my sister navigate her own health challenges changed the way I understood the body. I witnessed the frustration of searching for answers, the emotional weight of feeling unheard, and the reality that so many women are left believing their symptoms are simply something they have to live with.
Casa del Alma was born from those experiences and from a longing to create the kind of place I wished existed for her. A place rooted in compassion, education, and a deep respect for the body's incredible ability to heal when it's truly supported.
Then life gave me another perspective.
After suffering a major knee injury that required surgery, I went from being someone who trusted her body completely to someone who had to relearn how to walk, move, and dance again. Recovery wasn’t just about rebuilding my strength; it was about rebuilding my relationship with my body and, in many ways, rebuilding who I was. Movement had always been such a deeply rooted part of my identity, and suddenly I had to learn who I was when my body couldn’t do the things it once could.” It taught me patience. It taught me humility. And it reminded me that healing isn't something we force; it's something we create the conditions for.
Working in physical therapy settings only reinforced that belief.
Every day I watched people recover from injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain, and I realized that healing is never just physical. Our bodies reflect how we move, eat, sleep, recover, manage stress, and care for ourselves.
Everything is connected.
The more I studied exercise science and women's hormone health, the more everything began to make sense. Energy, mood, digestion, recovery, menstrual cycles, metabolism, and stress aren't separate conversations.
They're all part of the same story.
Today, my mission is simple:
To help women understand their bodies instead of fearing them.
To teach that symptoms aren't inconveniences to ignore; they're messages worth listening to.
To help women build strength, nourish themselves well, recover intentionally, and feel empowered to take ownership of their health.
Because I don't believe your body is working against you.
I believe it's constantly trying to communicate with you.
And when we learn to listen instead of fight it, everything begins to change.
